The Unforgiving Monkey The Unforgiving Monkey Long ago, in a beautiful kingdom filled with gardens, tall trees, and golden palaces, there lived a king named Mohan. King Mohan had two young sons who loved animals very much. One day, they decided to keep a large group of monkeys as their royal pets. The monkeys lived inside the palace gardens. There were banana trees with long yellow fruits, orange trees with round juicy oranges, chikoo trees with soft brown fruits, and pomegranate trees filled with red seeds. Many monkeys lived happily in this grove. They played together, ate fresh fruit, and slept on the cool tree branches. Among all the monkeys, there was a young and very active monkey named   Makranda . Makranda was full of energy. He loved to jump, run, and swing all day long. He climbed the tallest trees and leaped from one branch to another without fear. The other monkeys watched him with surprise. “Makranda, be careful,” the senior monkeys often warned him. “Do not jump so fast,” said one old monkey. “Danger can come when you do not listen,” said another. But Makranda did not listen. He laughed and said, “I am strong and fast. Nothing can hurt me!” The...
