The Brave Crow and the Sly Serpent Once upon a time, in the middle of a deep and green jungle, there stood a very big banyan tree. The tree was old and strong. Its long branches spread out in all directions like giant arms. Thick green leaves covered the branches and made a wide blanket of cool shade on the ground below. When the wind blew, the leaves danced and made a soft rustling sound. The banyan tree looked like a perfect home for birds and animals. One hot summer day, a black crow named Sunny flew through the jungle. The sun was bright, and the heat made Sunny tired. He looked for a place to rest. The Four Friends' Great Rescue Once upon a time, in a green forest far away, there lived four very good friends. They were all different animals, but their hearts were full of love and care for one another. The four friends were a gentle   deer , a clever   crow , a hardworking   mole , and a slow but wise   tortoise . Every afternoon, when the sun was warm and the birds were singing, the four friends met under a big banyan tree. This banyan tree was very old and had long branches that gave cool shade. The friends loved this place. They would sit together, talk, laugh, and share stories about their day. The deer would say, “Today I ran very fast across the field!” The crow would reply, “I saw many things from the sky today.” The mole would smile and say, “I made new tunnels under the ground.” And the tortoise would slowly say, “I may be slow, but I enjoy every step.” They were happy together, and they trusted one another very much.
