The Faithful Mongoose Once upon a time, in a small and peaceful village, there lived a hardworking farmer. He lived with his kind wife and their little baby boy. The farmer and his wife loved their son more than anything in the world. They took great care of him and always prayed for his safety and happiness. Every day, the farmer went to the fields early in the morning to grow crops. His wife stayed at home and looked after the house and the baby. Their life was simple, but they were very happy together. One evening, while the farmer was returning home from the fields, he saw a small animal lying near the road. It was a mongoose. The poor creature looked weak and injured.
