The Brave Crow and the Sly Serpent In the middle of a dense jungle, there was a sizable banyan tree. Its branches stretch out in all directions, covering the ground with a thick layer of shade. The leaves on the branches were thick and rustled in the breeze.  Sunny  the crow happened to perch on one of the branches one day.  Sunny  savoured the cooling effect of the banyan tree's breeze on the sweltering summer day. He took a glance around and was dismayed to see no nests on such a grand, amiable tree. He was unable to hear the mynahs' piercing cries, the squirrels' chattering, or the sparrows' twittering.
