Beauty and the Beast: A Classic Fairytale for Kids

Beauty and the Cursed Beast

Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, there lived a beautiful young girl named Beauty. She lived with her father, who was a wealthy merchant, and her two sisters. Beauty was kind and gentle, always thinking of others before herself.

One day, Beauty's father was traveling to a far-off land when he stumbled upon an enchanted castle. The castle belonged to a beast, a cruel and frightening creature that had once been a handsome prince. The beast had been cursed by a wicked witch and could only be freed from his curse if a young woman would agree to marry him.

When Beauty's father returned home, he told his daughters of the enchanted castle and the beast. Beauty's sisters were horrified, but Beauty felt a sense of bravery and wanted to help break the curse. So, she went to the castle to live with the beast and become his wife.

At first, the beast was rude and unkind to Beauty, but as time went by, she saw that he was not all that he appeared to be. The more she got to know him, the more she realized that he was kind and gentle at heart. Beauty fell in love with the beast, and he with her.

One day, the wicked witch returned and told the beast that if he did not marry her, she would cast another spell that would keep him a beast forever. Beauty bravely stood up to the witch and told her that the beast was her true love and that she would never let the curse continue. The witch was so taken aback by Beauty's bravery that she lifted the curse, and the beast turned back into the handsome prince he once was.

Beauty and the prince were married, and they lived happily ever after. Beauty's kindness and bravery had shown her that true beauty comes from within, and her love had broken the curse and brought happiness to the kingdom. And they all lived happily ever after.
