The Three Promises of Friendship Once upon a time, there was a young man named   Aditya . Aditya loved to walk and explore new places. One sunny morning, he decided to take a long walk in the   big, green jungle . He enjoyed the sound of birds singing and leaves rustling in the wind. After walking for a while, Aditya became   very thirsty . His throat felt dry, and his stomach grumbled. Suddenly, he   saw an old well   hidden behind some trees. "Ah! I can drink some water here," he thought happily. But when Aditya looked inside the well, he was   shocked . Inside the well, he saw   three living beings trapped : a   tiger , a   snake , and a   man . The tiger looked at Aditya and said in a deep voice, “Please, young man, help me get out of this well!” The snake hissed softly, “Yes, please help me too. The Wise Hare and the Arrogant Lion Once upon a time, in a big, green jungle, there lived a lion. He was not just any lion—he was the king of the jungle. All the animals feared him. He was the strongest, the fastest, and the bravest animal in the whole forest. Whenever he walked through the jungle, every animal would hide. No one dared to cross his path. The lion was also very hungry most of the time. He loved to hunt. Every day, he would go out looking for food. The animals of the jungle were scared of being eaten. So, they made a deal with the lion. Every day, one animal would come to the lion and offer itself as food. This way, the lion got to eat, and the other animals stayed safe. One bright sunny morning, the lion woke up feeling extremely hungry. He stretched his legs and roared loudly. “Where is my food today?” he growled. “Why is no one bringing me anything to eat?” The animals had never missed a day before. Today was different. The lion was starting to get angry. His stomach ...

He loved to talk all day long. He talked in the morning, he talked in the afternoon, and he even talked at night.  Tom talked to everyone he met. He talked to tiny ants walking near the lake. He talked to colorful fish swimming around him. He talked to frogs, deer, monkeys, and even big elephants who came to drink water from the lake. Everyone in the forest knew Tom because he always had something to say. Tom’s best friends were two kind geese named   Bo   and   Mo . They lived in the same lake and visited Tom every day. Bo and Mo loved Tom very much, even though he talked a lot. “Good morning, Tom!” Bo would say. “Good morning, Bo! Good morning, Mo! Did you sleep well? I slept well. I had a long dream. Let me tell you about it,” Tom would reply happily. Bo and Mo would s...

They were all different animals, but their hearts were full of love and care for one another. The four friends were a gentle   deer , a clever   crow , a hardworking   mole , and a slow but wise   tortoise . Every afternoon, when the sun was warm and the birds were singing, the four friends met under a big banyan tree. This banyan tree was very old and had long branches that gave cool shade. The friends loved this place. They would sit together, talk, laugh, and share stories about their day. The deer would say, “Today I ran very fast across the field!” The crow would reply, “I saw many things from the sky today.” The mole would smile and say, “I made new tunnels under the ground.” And the tortoise would slowly say, “I may be slow, but I enjoy every step.” They were happy together, and they trusted one another very much.
